Brain Injury Awareness Week!

August 20, 2013

Brain Injury Awareness Week (BAW) is a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. In Australia, this year’s theme is around sports related brain injury.

At SportsCare we try to help increase brain injury awareness in patients with our concussion education and management program.

In our ‘Head Knocks’ program we encourage all people involved with sport to be responsible in the management of concussion and the promotion of player safety.

The program specialises in sport specific vision and balance training and facilitate the transition to exercise specific skills and return to play.
