Thanks for an amazing 2019

December 19, 2019

2019, What a year!

It has been an especially exciting year for us at SportsCare, jammed packed with events, celebrations and new beginnings.

This year SportsCare celebrated our 20th anniversary. In August, we treated all current and past staff and reffers to a cocktail party to say thank you for helping build SportsCare into what it is today. In September, current staff enjoyed a dinner at Pialligo Estate, to reclect on years gone by and to get excited about the years to come.

September was a very busy month for us. We opened our newest location, Woolley Street in Dickson. This location is also home to one of our most exciting investments – our first-ever Boost Treadmill. The Boost Treadmill helps ease pressure on your joints when you run or walk by taking away some of your weight.

The treadmil is only one of 20 in Australia and we are offering the general public of Canberra access to this state of the art technology for the first time.

September also marked our entry into Instagram, and we have been enjoying engaging with you all online.

In October, SportCare had a blast at the Dragons Abreast Festival. You don’t often get to race in 12-metre long dragon boats, and the fact it was raising money for breast cancer survivors made it all the more meaningful.

In November, we celebrated with our staff member Casey who married hubby, Rhys, in Juigong. Congratulations once again Mr and Mrs Daniel.

SportsCare loves that we Re able to support so many teams and events within the Canberra community each year. In 2019 we supported the Canberra Capitals, the Free Reign Theatre and the Arrawang Netball Association, who made it all the way to the finals – congratulations. We also sponsored the Jakie Fairweather Memorial Triathlon, which was a very enjoyable event with 460 athletes participating.

We wish you a merry holiday period and hope you enjoy a well-earned rest.

Thank you to all our clients for a fantastic 2019. We are excited to get back to it in the new year.

If you require an appointment over the Christmas beak, Weston and Barton are open.
