Emma is an accredited Exercise Physiologist with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation from the University of Canberra. With a background in biomechanics and injury rehab and prevention, Emma has a passion for human movement science stemming from her experience as a competitive gymnast.
Prior to joining SportsCare, Emma worked in the Exercise Physiology Department at the Canberra Hospital, where she assisted in deconditioning management during inpatient stays.
Emma’s interests include Women’s Health Care Exercise Physiology, specifically in pre and post-natal care, pelvic floor health, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), and Female Athletic Development. She is currently participating in a mentorship program to further her knowledge in Women’s Health Physiology and Exercise domains.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys early morning gym sessions, walks with her Jack Russell pups, playing guitar and piano as both a singer and songwriter, and performing at Canberra venues.
