Tanaya Watson

Tanaya graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2002, and spent a few years working at The Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Canberra Hospital. From there her focus shifted to community health settings, where she gained experience treating a wide variety of conditions including musculoskeletal and falls and balance issues. Tanaya’s career has seen her work across many states and territories of Australia, before settling in Canberra in 2018.

Meet Tanaya

Tanaya has a special interest in women’s health and she has worked in postnatal wards, in outpatient clinics, and running exercise classes for pregnancy and the postnatal period. She has recently undertaken further training in women’s health, and continues further study in Pilates and management of pelvic health conditions. 

Tanaya takes a very holistic approach to physiotherapy, and she is passionate about providing education and support to her patients. She is excited to join the SportsCare team, and when not at work is busy caring for her two young children, exploring Canberra on foot, watching the AFL and sneaking weekends to the coast.
