Laura Reeks

Laura grew up in country NSW and relocated to Canberra to pursue a sporting career in volleyball, seeing her play for the Australian National Team and for professional teams in Europe. She retired from volleyball in 2024 which provided her the opportunity and time to undertake her studies in Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra.

She has previously studied a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Rehabilitation) at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst, and a Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy at the Australian Institute of Fitness. Laura has been resident massage therapist at SportsCare Barton and Mawson clinic since 2023.

Given Laura’s first-hand experience with navigating injuries, she is able to draw on this knowledge to help individuals progress through their rehab journey.
