As a previous Exercise Physiologist she has had experience in pool and gym-based rehabilitation, strength and conditioning and exercise prescription for a wide range of injuries. Lisa is a certified RETUL bike fitter, a certified CCMI concussion physiotherapist and is trained in clinical pilates. She is also experienced in running assessments and biomechanical movement analysis for sport.
Now as a Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist Lisa has worked with several National and International sporting teams, including local football clubs, the ACT Academy of Sport (ACTAS) and the AIS U17 Australian Soccer Team. She currently provides Physiotherapy coverage for the Gungahlin United Premier League Soccer Club and supports the Australian Para-rowing Team for local, interstate and international tours. Lisa has also travelled with Triathlon Australia and Para-Tri Australia, Para-athletics Australia and was selected in the headquarters Physiotherapy team for Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
Her clinical areas of interest are cycling (on and off-road), triathlon, soccer injuries, adolescent injuries, injury prevention, running injuries, pelvic dysfunctions, post-natal return to sport, concussion and pilates. Her personal interests include road cycling, mountain biking, snowboarding, running, triathlon and soccer when she’s not chasing her two energetic young children.
