In October Louise and I went to Adelaide to attend the Annual Australian Hand therapy conference. The conference covered a range of topics, two of the focus areas were wrist injuries and thumb arthritis. We had a number of informative lectures from Hand therapists, Plastic Surgeons and Orthopaedic Surgeons. We attended workshops on management of elbow injuries and yoga for the upper limb. We learnt a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to sample some excellent SA produce, wine and Haigs Chocolates.
