The SPA held the Level 2 Sports Course at the AIS over 4-6thApril 2014. Physiotherapists from around Australia travelled to Canberra to develop their knowledge and skills when working with sports related injuries. Louise Roantree of SportsCare & Physiotherapy presented on sport injuries to the wrist and hand. Louise is a certified hand therapist working with athletes from a variety of sports, ages and abilities. The key messages from the presentation were to keep the focus of rehab on function and sport specific and to avoid treating the upper limb insolation from the rest of the body.
