Jo Brannigan

Jo grew up and trained in London, graduating in 1988. She worked in the UK, New Zealand and around Australia before settling in Canberra in 1994. Jo has extensive private practice experience in a wide range of general musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions and has continued with post-graduate training throughout her career. Jo has recently completed specialist gerontology training to help support our aging population.

Meet Jo

Jo has over 30 years’ experience in general physiotherapy and orthopaedics – especially upper limb, shoulder and elbow injuries, including fractures. She has worked with orthopaedic surgeons in both Canberra and NSW to manage rehabilitation both before and after surgery, as well as conservative management of rotator cuff tears.

Jo helps clients to manage conditions such as inflammatory arthritis and foot conditions, especially plantar fasciitis.

Jo likes working with all age groups but particularly with older clients, helping them to maintain their activity and independence as much as possible.
