Meet Kim
Kim studied Physiotherapy at the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, graduating in 2013.
She started her career in private practice, while continuing her training at post-graduate level through the Auckland University of Technology. She gained a certificate in upper limb rehabilitation and pain management.
At the start of her physiotherapy career, Kim supported clients to manage their chronic health conditions, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and scleroderma.
In 2015, Kim moved into the specialised field of hand therapy. She became a Registered Hand Therapist with Hand Therapy New Zealand.
In 2017, Kim moved to Australia where she began working for Hands-On Physiotherapy. Kim became an Accredited Hand Therapist with the Australian Hand Therapy Association (AHTA). She is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
Kim enjoys helping people recover from traumatic injuries so they can return to their work and leisure activities and regain quality of life. She has particular interest in arthritis management, fracture management and post-surgical rehabilitation.
Outside of work, Kim enjoys spending time by the sea, swimming and bouldering.
